Bankruptcy Means Test Part II
Bankruptcy has become more complicated and, as a result, has increased the cost of a bankruptcy filing. One of the facts that can make your case more expensive is if your income meets or exceeds Minnesota averages. If this is the case, your bankruptcy will involve the Means-Test Part II. In this situation our standard Chapter 7/Consumer No-Asset (excluding contested matters) will increase by a minimum of $250.00. If you do not qualify for a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy you will have to file a Chapter 13 (Reorganization) Bankruptcy.
